Tutorial Bundle Design Team April Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to April's International Tutorial Bundle. You are going to love this month's tutorial bundle, with so many great ideas that are sure to get you inspired and try out. Here's a sneek peak and is available to purchase now. Click here to purchase.

To elaborate on the card that I have made for the bundle, I have created a 3D gift box using both the Window Shopping bundle and Birthday Blooms as another way that you can use these sets. Both sets paired together, makes such a lovely gift box that can also be used a decor. The hexagon box is very unique and make an exquisite handmade keepsake.

The Birthday Blooms flower is just gorgeous and has been coloured in with an aqua painter using some new in colors - Powder Pink (flower) and Lemon Lime Twist (leaves). I have also used Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi for extra shading.  Daffodil Delight has been used for the stamens.

After hand cutting the flower with a craft knife go around the edges with a black marker to give it a professional finish.

The floral bloom has been stamped with Basic Black Archival ink initially on Very Vanilla cardstock and makes the colours rather muted. The centre flower has been done twice and layered on top using foam dimensionals over the existing one to make it pop. I have also added Clear Wink of Stella over the flowers for extra shine.

The sentiment has been white heat embossed on the basic black carsdstock and is perfect to signify as gift box.

The sides of the hexagon box has been stamped with the floral pattern image from the Window Shopping set and stamped in the new in color Powder Pink ink.

Very Vanilla cardstock has been used to die cut the hexagon box and have used the horizontal striped window to offset the flower and allows you to still see through to the inside of the box.

I hope you have enjoyed and found inspiration. The Window Shopping box is such a versatile set and can be decorated to your heart's content and looks great combined with many other sets. It has so many uses both as a card as well as a unique 3D project that is fully customisable.

Make sure you continue to hop all the way around and see all the amazing inspirations from the rest of our team below, showcasing a similar concept to their projects in the bundle. Currently you are at my blog: Juana Ambida. - next up is the wonderful and talented Allison Okamitsu
