Ninja-Mazing Friend - Double Slider Card

Hello and welcome. I thought I'd share this 'Ninja-mazing' double slider card!
After seeing Kim Oliver's double slider card I knew I had to try and make one too. I have also based the card measurements on Darlene DeVries double slider card as it fits perfectly on an C6 envelope.

They both have a wonderful tutorial on how to make one.
Check out both Kim's and Darlene's example. :)

I love the new Japanese inspired sets that My Favorite Things have released and the Ninja-Mazing set is so much fun and perfect to use for interactive cards.

It's also great for colouring in therapy too and have used Copic markers for the images.

The colour palette has been inspired by Colour INKspiration #CI06 challenge

Night of Navy: Base cardstock, ink blending
Calypso Coral: Temple, Torii Gate, Ninja sash
Pool Party: Ink blending, Ninja sash
and Gold: Ninja stars and dots, Ninja sash (creative licence) hehe. :)

I have used fun foam to build the channel that houses the sliding mechanism inside. It's been doubled up to get the right height for it to all slide out easily.

Here are more photos of  the card... Love how it opens up to reveal the Ninjas kicking it with their own fun greetings from the set.

The front panel is also mounted on a top folding card base that allows you to write your own greeting or message inside.

I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration. It took awhile to make the card but once done it was worth it. Will surely be making more as it gets easier the second time around hehe. If you would like to know more info please send me a message of leave a comment below.

Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you next time. Happy Crafting! :)
