Lawn Fawnatics Happy Birthday theme challenge #1 - Yay! Bicycle Built for You.

Hello and welcome. My Lawn Fawn sets arrived yesterday - YAY! in time for the weekend to craft away and also just in time to enter Lawn Fawn's new blog challenge - Lawn Fawnatics!

They're celebrating their 7th Birthday and have entered this card for their Birthday theme.
Make sure to check out their wonderful blog challenge and see all the wonderful entries and join in the fun. Click here to visit and enter the challenge. :)

I couldn't wait to ink up and play with all the new Lawn Fawn goodies.  I have used the new Bicycle Built for you set and wanted to make a pop up box card using the new Scalloped Pop Up Box card die. It's just fabulous to use and goes perfectly with most of their sets as they always have matching dies for their adorable images. This is just one example and you can create an endless array of fun scenes using any of their sets with this Pop up box card - creativity is endless!

Patterned paper used is from the 12x12 Perfectly Plaid Rainbow and is perfect to use as it's double sided.

The tabs inside is Cilantro cardstock and have die cut the coordinating Grassy Hills border dies with the Road Border die. It's been cut to size to fit within the box card and have used it to best advantage hehe.

I have also combined the Yay Kites stamps and dies with the cute little birdies carrying the Happy script. The Happy Birthday die cut sentiment is from Big Scripty Words and compliments it so well. It's been mounted on with the die cut pole from the Scalloped Pop Up Box card die in clear acetate so it's see through.

All the images have been coloured using Copic markers and stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink. The stamped sentiment in light blue 'beautiful' is the Mermaid ink and is just gorgeous. The coordinating Mermaid cardstock is also used for the sky in the background. It's such a lovely colour and adore Aqua or Turquoise.

I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration. Making these pop up box card is so much fun, can't wait to make more hehe. The sets really put a smile on your face and just had so much fun playing with all them. The Lawn Fawn range is very well designed with everything well thought out - just love how all the sets all compliment each other. If you would like to know more info please send me a message or leave a comment below.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope to see you next time. Happy Crafting! :)
