Tiny Ninjas - Thank you card

Hello and welcome. I thought I'd share this Thank you card using the Tiny Ninjas set by Mama Elephant. It's such a cute and fun set and the coordinating dies makes it's so easy. I wanted to make some Asian inspired cards especially Japanese and have cased a card I made a while back using the Artistically Asian set (pictured in the back with the bamboo in in pink and grey). The Tiny Ninjas are so easy to colour in, as all you need to do is just colour their sash, faces and hands. I have used copics to colour them in and used Simon Says Stamp Intense black as it's designed for alcohol based markers. Memento ink would be perfect too.

The light grey and pink/magenta is a great colour combo and perfect for the ninja setting. I have retained the same ink blending with the bamboo but have used Tim Holtz distress ink (Picked Rasberry) to create the water droplet effects. The same tone on tone stamping has been done to the front panel with bamboos.

The reversed scalloped circle frame is the Columbus Circle frame tag die from Mama Elephant. It's such a stunning die and has so many creative possibilities. It adds so much dimension and showcases the ninjas so well as they jump out of the frame.

I particularly love the sentiment in Japanese with the English translation, all the small cute details really makes this such a great set as with all the Mama Elephant sets. To add contrast, I have white heat embossed the Japanese script and makes it stand out. Versafine Onyx black ink has been used for both the sentiment and the black bamboo as it gives such a crisp dark impression everytime.

The background theme has been carried inside the card with the cute ninja flying out holding the flower bouquet. I have also used clear glossy accents over the flower and the little card on the front and clear wink of Stella on the ninjas for added shine. Combining the sets with the Asian theme really adds so much interest to this card. I will surely be making and exploring a few more Asian inspired cards designs as it's such a fun and aesthetically pleasing theme for me personally. I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration.  Create something you love to do. Thank you so much for stopping by and hope to see you next time. Happy Crafting! :)
