Box Name Card - Something for baby

Here is a card I made for a special order for a dear friend who wanted a card made for her niece's naming day. To celebrate this occasion, I made a 3D rectangle box card as it really adds personality and makes the images pop up and the best thing is it all fold flat ready to be posted in the mail. The colour scheme was pink and purple and have used blushing bride card stock for the base and the Birthday bouquet designer series paper for that beautiful watercolour pink stripes that wraps around the box. The back panel also uses the Birthday bouquet designer series paper with the dots design for contrast and still picks up on the pink.

I have used the Something for Baby stamp set and co-ordinating framelits which is in the Annual Catalogue. It is such an endearing set and perfect for baby cards or for scrapbooking. The baby's name is Evie and have used the Little Letters dies that is also in the Annual catalogue and have used blushing bride glimmer paper to give it that sparkle. The larger E die cut is a retired product that I had on hand and have added it as a monogram for the baby's name. The other embellishments used are the subtles candy dots for the little flowers and pink bakers twine and have poked holes in the banner penant using the Ecclectic paper piercing kit for that extra cute detail. It was such a fun card to make and thank you for having a look at my new creation. If you have been inspired to make this card or would like a custom made order please send me a message for more information. You will find this stamp set in the Annual catalogue, Something for baby and Baby's first framelits and you save 15% if you purchase it as a bundle - it's a great deal! Happy Crafting! :)
