Here are the three cards using the images from the set to make a clean and simple card, yet fun using bright happy colours of the rainbow.
All images are stamped in Simon Says Stamp intense black ink and coloured in with Prismacolor pencils. Gamsol has been used to blend out the colouring to achieve a smooth finished look.
The square and circle frames that each critter is on is the Stitched framelit dies from Stampin' Up!
Ink blending has been applied to each one using Tim Holtz distress inks - Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean. Love the how these inks react to water and have spritz a few to get that subtle effect.
The splatter effect is the Gorgeous Grunge set from Stampin' Up! and is my go to create an interest to an otherwise plain background and gives that artsy feel.
The balloons has been stamped first on the card and then die cut out with the coordinating die and placed over the top. The little clouds is using the Simple Puffy Clouds frame die and just love that it's just the outline for a subtle effect.
The last two cards are quite similar in design and have played around with the sentiment placement.
Love the design of the sentiments and works so well with the images. Versafine Onyx ink has been used as it gives such a dark crisp black impression every time.
It was so much fun creating these cards. The Up and Away set is a joy to use with the coordinating dies that saves hand cutting and can make so many at once in no time. I hope you enjoyed the cards and found inspiration. Creating cards for charity is such a great cause and will be donating more in the future. :)
Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you next time. Happy Crafting! :)
