Thank you for joining the Tutorial Bundle Design team today! We are a group of 12 demonstrators from around the world that have created a bundle of tutorials that will be released on the 1st of every month for six months.

Here is my project today using a similar technique (or stamp set) to the one in my tutorial - Remember it isn't the same, it is using the same technique. The projects in the tutorial bundle are exclusive and you won't see them anywhere else.

The High Tide set from the new Occasions catalogue is a great nautical set and so versatile, it looks great with any design element and as you can see the addition of Sunburst thinlit and the Square Stitched Shapes framelits dies, really adds a wow factor and dimension to the layers. Both this set and the stitched shapes framelits are featured in the February tutorial bundle that I worked on, but with something a little bit more... Here's a sneak peek. :)

The whole card uses Whisper White cardstock and what a difference colour can make. The use of ink blending truly transforms this card and gives it that special touch rather than just a flat colour that you would get from using ordinary coloured cardstock. This technique along with white heat embossing are featured on my card tutorial. Ink blending allows you to also custom make your own coloured cardstock, if you don't have that particular cardstock on hand. The Stampin' Up! inks are the same exact shade and perfectly coordinate. A little fussy cutting also goes a long way to bring that added dimension to the image.

Here are the elements used in the card.

Metric: Card Base: 10.5 cm x 29.7 cm (fold in half at 14.85 cm)
Imperial:  Card Base: 4 ¼” x 11” (fold in half at 5 ½”)

Gold sequins are also a feature in the tutorial and works well with this lighthouse imagery. The Bermuda bay bakers twine is another embellishment and help draw the eye to the sentiment.

I always try and decorate the inside of my cards to give it that finishing touch and to carry the theme through. A strip of ink blending ombre effect with the lighthouse (fussy cut out) is a great clean finish.

I hope you have enjoyed the card and have enticed you to see more of what you can do with this amazing set by purchasing the tutorial bundle. If you would like to purchase the bundle please click here

Make sure you continue to hop all the way around and see all the amazing inspirations from the rest of our team below, showcasing a similar concept to their projects in the bundle. Currently you are at my blog: Juana Ambida. - next up is the talented Kimberly Van Diepen

Enjoy! Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting! :)
