Papercraft Business Challenge #6 - Mother's Day Theme

Hello and welcome to the Papercraft Business Challenge #6. Wow! there were so many amazing creations in last month's challenge and excited to see what you create this month! The theme for the challenges is usually, 'Anything Goes' with the option of a Mother's Day theme this month. There is a special prize to win the Happy Mother's Day border die from Lawn Fawn for entries with a Mother's Day theme get an extra entry to win! Click here to join in on the fun and see what the design team has created for more creative inspiration!

I have created two cards using the Happy Mother's Day border die and was a lot of fun to use. The first card is using the lovely Mom & Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn as it makes such a cute Mother's Day card. I have also used the Landscape Leafy Tree backdrop and the Stitched hillside borders dies to create a cute woodland scene.  The Happy Mother's Day border die has been die cut three times and layered up to create to create a 3D chipboard look. I have also added clear glossy accents over the top for added shine and dimension.

The images has been stamped with Lawn Fawn inks and coloured with Copic markers. The sky and grassy hillside has been ink blended using Broken China and Mowed Lawn Ranger distress inks.

Knock on wood 6x6 inch petite patterned paper was used for the Leafy Tree backdrop for the woodgrain effect. Foam dimensionals were used on some of the leaves on the tree to make them stand out more.

This is inside of the card, similar elements from the front has carried over and have used the other cute images of the owls from the set. The accompanying sentiments has been white heat embossed and is just too cute.

This is the second card with the new Lawn Fawn Rub-A-Dub-Dub set spring release. This set is so much fun to play with and immensely enjoyed creating the fun scene. The same technique of mounting several layers of the Happy Mother's Day word die has been used, however this time it's four layers with glimmer paper used on top for the sparkle and brings out the word die so well.

Gotta Have Gingham 6x6 petite patterned paper was used for the background and have die cut is using the Large Stitched Rectangle die for an A2 size card front. The images have been coloured in with copic markers and have mounted the ducks with foam dimensionals to make them pop up. The images on both cards have been cut out using a Scan 'n' cut electronic cutter machine, although there are coordinating dies available for both the sets used.

This is inside of the card with the cute duck family and the accompanying sentiment that has been silver embossed  to follow on from the front. I have also used 'MUM' hehe and this is from the new Happy Happy Happy add on set - totally perfect for everyone hehe.

I hope you have enjoyed and found inspiration. Both cards were so much fun to create and the word die adds a special touch for Mother's Day. I can't wait to see what you create for this month's challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time - Happy Crafting! :)
