Happy Valentine's Day with fun Lawn Fawn sets

Hello crafty friends! It's time for another Papercraft Business Challenge #3 with 'Anything Goes' or with the optional theme of Love or Valentine's Day. Entering a card with the optional theme, you win an extra entry! We hope you will join in the fun! Click here to join. :)

Lawn Fawn has released a cute and fun love themed set for Valentine's and have used the new How You Bean? Conversation Hearts add on stamp and die set as well the RAWR set with the cute dinosaur. In addition I have also used the new Love Ya line border die that compliments the sets. Here is my card... It has been a lot of fun creating with both these sets and combining them adds so much uniqueness and creativity.

To make the mason jars life like, I have white heat embossed the mason jar image on heat resistant acetate window sheets an are die cut out twice to create a sandwich to hold the hearts inside. It has then been adhered with some strips of double sided tape that has been trimmed to size to fit along the edges so it's not visible.

The hearts have been adhered within the acetate mason jar and placed inside before closing up the mason jar layers. I have tied a bow using white bakers twine on the top to further secure the seal and adds a cute touch to the finished mason jar.

Using the acetate window sheets allows you to not only see the ink blended background but also the cute dinosaur peeking out holding one of the hearts from the mason jar. Broken China Ranger mini distress inks have been used for the ink blended background on Strathmore Bristol smooth cardstock.

All the images have been coloured in with copic markers as well as some stamping using Lawn Fawn ink cubes Ice Cream Parlour set - Peachy Keen (pink).

The Love Ya line border has been used a decorative feature as well as a fun way to highlight the sentiments from both sets. I have used red foil cardstock and has been die cut twice to create the thickness and makes it stand out better. The patterned paper was part of a gift of sample papers from from a Lawn Fawn order. It is from Let's Polka in the dark collection pack. The red and white is such a classic colour for Valentines that I have used it and also added in the polka dots on the red dinosaur using a Gelly Roll white opaque gel pen.

The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment has been white heat embossed and die cut out using the smallest size banner from Everyday Sentiment Banners die set. It has then been ink blended using Candied Apple distress inks to coordinate with the overall colour scheme.

I hope you have enjoyed and found inspiration. Lawn Fawn sets are just so adorable and make such cute and unique sets for all occasions. I have listed the supplies below if you would like to create this card. This card will definitely add a smile to the recipient this Valentine's day. I look forward to seeing all your lovely creations over at this month's Papercraft Business Challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time - Happy Crafting! :)
