June Tutorial Bundle Design Team Stampin' Up! Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to June's Tutorial Bundle design team blog hop. This month's tutorial bundle is full of great cards and project ideas highlighting some of the new goodies from the new catalogue. There is plenty of inspiration that you'll want to get your hands on. Click here to purchase.

Here is the sneak peek photo of the project I have made in the tutorial bundle. To give you another way that this awesome die can be used, I have teamed it up with a gorgeous Tuscan Vineyard stamp set.

Fortunately it has been carried over in the new catalogue and for very good reason, the illustration is just exquisite and so detailed. It's just perfect for colouring in and to use for a range of other techniques.  I have framed the picturesque Tuscan vineyard image using three oval shaped dies, the
Lovely Words thinlints 'Friend' die, the layering oval and the oval stitched shape framelit die.

Here are all the panels used to create the card...

The nested die cut window frame,  frames the entire scene beautifully.

The images have been stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink as it'a perfect to use with alcohol based markers. It was so much fun and relaxing colouring in all the images with Copic markers and just love the finished result using these quality markers.

The stamped image would also look great using any other mediums you have on hand such as, colour pencils, and ink watercolours using an aqua painter for example.

The 'Toscana Vigneto' label image has been punch out using the coordinating 1" circle punch and mounted with foam dimensionals. I have trimmed it off to fit on the card front.

The sentiment is from the Lovely Inside and Out stamp set and has been white heat embossed on Elegant Eggplant cardstock. The purple hue ties in with the grapes and wine bottle.

Here are the angle shots of the card to show the die cut window frame. The lovely words thinlits are just marvelous to create this effect and adds so much dimension to a card.

Here is the inside of the card, showing the reverse of the die cut window. I have die cut another piece to cover the back and hide the initial inner oval die cut window. This helps to reinforce and strengthen the die cut word frame.

Here's a close up of the coloured Tuscan Vineyard image. Adding colour just brings it to life thanks to the realistic drawing. All props to the artist who drew this. :)

I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration. The Lovely Words thinlits and bundle is just so versatile and would compliment many sets in the new catalogue.  It makes the perfect framing to add to your cards.

Make sure you continue to hop all around to see all the wonderful inspirations from our team. Next on the hop is the talented Kimberly, you are going to love what she has created.

Thank you so much for stopping by, till next time - Happy Crafting! :)
