Rose Wonder - Window Card inspired by #GDP088 Case the Designer Challenge.

Hello crafters! I'm sharing this card that has been inspired by the Global Design Project #GDP088 Case the designer challenge - Shawn De Oliveira. Shawn's Rose wonder card is so stunning and elegant. The Rose Wonder has to be one of my favourite sets and just love the intricate dies.
The die cut rose has a stain glass quality and looks great in gold.

I have taken the stain glass appearance by creating a window front with the die cut rose and showing the stamped image inside. The black helps make it pop and have used this element on the white heat embossed sentiment.

Lining up the die cut with the image is crucial and being a photopolymer set greatly helps.
Using a stamp positioner tool is also helpful and makes it a lot easier.

The background stamp used is from Simon Says Stamp, "You Matter" and it's a gorgeous background stamp with many encouraging words.  I love how the font in lower case compliments the sentiment from Rose Wonder.

Here is the inside of the card and you can see the reverse side of the rose die cut window front.
An additional die cut rose has been inlaid to cover up the adhesive from the font die cut rose. The rose image has been stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink and coloured in with Copic markers.

I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple card. The die cut rose window just steps up the card and gives it so much dimension and interest. It's such a versatile set and be sure to check out the rest of the wonderful creations over at Global Design Projects, there are so many amazing creation using this set and hopefully you'll be inspired to join in the fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope to see you next time. Happy Crafting! :)
