Butterfly Basics watercolour - Case This Card Challenge #CTC004

Hello and welcome back. I thought I would share this card made specially for a customer order.  It's a separate Birthday card to go with the Retirement card I made previously and it follows on from the same floral theme. Here are the two cards.

This card has also been entered in Jessie Holton's Case This Card Challenge #CTC004.
Please check out the other creative entries  and hopefully you'll join in too! :)

Andrea's gorgeous card below is the card we're Caseing. CASE is to Copy and Selectively Edit any inspiration from the card and make it your own. I have taken Emerald Envy and the string/twine from Andrea's gorgeous card.

I decided to use a previous card layout I have done before using the Butterfly Basics set. The card below is the one I made for GDP040 - Case the Designer. You can check  the post here. I felt this was a perfect layout to go with the Retirement card and just needed to change the colours so  that it coordinated. The use of the twine on this card suited the Case the Card challenge as well.

I have used Zig Kuretaki Gansai Tambi watercolors again as it's a delight to use and love the vibrant colours.

The images from Butterfly Basics set has been stamped with Versamark and white heat embossed on Arches watercolour paper.

The embossed ink resist is one of my favourite techniques and is perfect for watercolouring. It makes watercolouring so much easier and love the white outlines it leaves in the end.

Here's a closer look at the card with a new colour scheme to suit.

The theme carries on inside the card leaving enough space to write a personal message.

I hope you have enjoyed this second take on my previous card. Just by changing the colours can give a whole new look. The Butterfly Basic set is such a wonderful and versatile set.

Thanks you so much for stopping by and hope to see you next time. Happy Crafting! :)
