Thoughtful Branches Crazy Crafters Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters blog hop showcasing the wonderful Thoughtful Branches bundle!  You can get the exclusive, limited-time Thoughtful Branches bundle between 2 and 31 August while supplies last. This limited-time bundle is only available this month while supplies last, so don’t wait too long to order yours!

I have had so much fun playing with this bundle that I wanted to try different variations using the Beautiful Branches thinlits with the sentiments in the set. Here they are:

This set is so versatile that it looks great with the Jar of Love set and coordinating Everday Jars framelits. I have placed the hydrangea inside to make it a display piece.

The hydrangea has been white heat embossed on whisper white cardstock and I have ink blended it with Wild Wasabi ink, going from the centre out.

The Thank You sentiment has been white heat embossed on Crumb Cake cardstock and I have ink blended with Crumb Cake at the bottom to give it some depth and make the sentiment pop.

This is a shaker card for some fun. Colours for the tree is Sweet Sugarplum and coordinates with the ribbon and base cardstock.

Here is a monochromatic colour scheme emulating Autumn/Fall using Peeka Boo Peach with black and white. I have also experimented with partial die cutting and so happy with the results.

I just love the fonts in this set and wanted to make it a custom dsp background along with the leaves. The tree has been partially die cut so it remains with the card panel and I have mounted this with dimensionals so it's raised. The leaves have been gold heat embossed on vellum and gives a warmness to the card.

Here is partial die cutting using both the tree thinlits and circle framelits. The trick is to not cut the base of the tree to keep it part of the card front panel. I have added a window sheet to reinforce the tree partial die cut.

Please click here to view the tutorial on how to create this Partial Die Cutting.

Here is the inside... Just a simple monochromatic design. The heart has been die cut from the Mini Treat Bag framelits and ink blended using Peekaboo Peach. Any heart dies or punches could also be used instead. The leaves have been die cut as well and that is from the set.

Here is my last card using window sheet as a card - A2 top folding. It's monochromatic using Emerald Envy with partial die cutting.  I have seen a few of these window sheet/acetate cards and have been influenced by Jennifer McGuire's gorgeous cards.

Inside the card... I have cut the sentiment so it goes on one line as this is better suited to the layout and you can get more use out of the stamps. You are able to put it back together again for it's original intended use.

I hope you have enjoyed and found inspiration. The Thoughtful Branches bundle is so versatile and can be used throughout the year for many special occasions. The creativity is endless and is a must have, but is only for a limited time so be sure to place your order.
