Hello and welcome to another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. It's been a busy and exciting month so far getting to hop with quite a few famous demos from the USA!
You may have just come from the previous person or you may be starting here at my blog Juana Ambida. If you lose your way and get off track, there is a full list of this hops participants at the bottom of this post. I hope as you hop around you find lots of ideas and inspiration for your projects.
Our special guest the for this hop is the wonderfully talented US demo Dawn Olchekske.
As part of the hop, we get to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) any cards/projects that has been created by Dawn Olchekske. When you get a chance, take a look at her blog for some wonderful ideas. She also has a fabulous YouTube channel with many great and helpful tutorials.
There are so many great cards by Dawn and made it hard to choose, but I have chosen these two cards below. I just love the floral card, as Dawn has used the Jar of Love set, one of my favourites from the new annual catalog. The gorgeous Christmas card with the window inspired me to make a shaker card as I couldn't wait to use the new Jar of Cheer set and give a sneak peek at the same time. Thank you so much dawn for your creative inspiration and it's such an honor to case your cards.
The Jar of Cheer set used with the Jar of Love bundle is just wonderful and so versatile and by coordinating it with other sets creates an endless creative possibilities as you can see. Just add some embellishments and gold heat embossing gives it a special touch.
Jar of Cheer
Sets I have used from the new Holiday Catalogue are:
• Jar of Cheer Photopolymer Set - 142161
• Warmth and Cheer Designers Series Paper Stack - 141991
• Warmth and Cheer Designers Series Paper Stack - 141991
• Christmas Pines Bundle - 143496
• Bakers Twine Trio Pack - 141999
• Fancy Frost sequins - 142519
• Mica Flakes Trio Pack - 141998 (perfect for shaker cards - instant snow with the white!)
Annual Catalogue
• Jar Of Love Photopolymer Bundle - 142342
• Diagonal Stripes Clear mount - 141917
• Gold 1/4" (6.4 mm) Natural Trim - 141484
"Wishing you a Season of Cheer" Jars
Diagonal Stripes set - custom make your own dsp background by partially gold heat embossing the edges. Perfect way to tie in the existing gold heat embossed sentiment.
"Yule Love This!" Snowman and Candy Jars
The candy coordinates with 1/2" punch and I have inserted them in between a window sheet and stamped the small Jar from Jar of Love set with black Stazon ink. I have also added Glossy accents on the candies outside the jar and the heart on the sentiment. That has been fussy cut out and mounted with a foam dimensional.
"Merry" Christmas Tree Jar
I have utilised the Warmth and Cheers dsp by using the off cut strip and used the reverse pattern (trees) on the side of the shaker card panel. Christmas Pines have been added to give that interest and decoration.
I hope you have enjoyed these cards and have been inspired. This set is just amazing and will surely be making more unique cards and just looks great teamed with other sets. This set is available on 1st September for customers to order. If you can not wait that long, why not join? and get this as part of your pre-order and enjoy the discounts on future purchases.
Make sure you continue to hop all the way around and see all the amazing inspiration from the Crazy Crafters team. You are going to love what our team have come up with using Dawn's cards. Currently you are at my blog - Juana Ambida - so check the list to see who is up next. Enjoy!
