Embellished Ornaments - Christmas in July!

Hello and welcome back! I thought I'd share this card and take part in the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #55, where they have a Christmas in July theme! It surely is a great way to get started on the holiday cards. There are so many great cards on there so please be sure to check out the creative gallery and hopefully you'll be inspired to join in the fun! :)

Here is the banner for the SIP Challenge #56 – Christmas in July!

I have used the Embellished Ornaments set with the coordinating Delicate Ornaments Thinlits dies.
It is such a fabulous set and I have gone for a clean and simple modern look using gold and incorporating a shaker card with the ornaments die cut windows.

As you can see I have used two of the ornament shapes and I have used the positive and negative of the die cut shape from the two round ornaments to create the window shaker panel. By doing this you can get more use and look of the ornaments.

The sentiment "Thinking of You at Christmas" has been stamped with black Stazon ink on the window sheet/acetate. Behind that is the stamped ornament (longer) image with Sahara Sand ink to coordinate with the card base, the white also ties in with the white panel. This becomes the shaker window with the gold sequins inside.

The other round ornament underneath, has been die cut in gold foil paper and adhered on top of the window sheet - it's been inlaid and fits in like a puzzle. Behind this ornament window panel, I have added dazzling diamonds glimmer paper for added sparkle.

The longer die cut ornament in gold foil and dazzling diamonds glimmer paper, has been adhered on the top of the window shaker panel to give depth with layering. All three ornaments have been threaded with metallic gold thread using the cute pendant/hook die cut on top of each one to give the effect that they are hanging.

The inside of the card, I have carried the same idea but simplified it with just having the round one popping of the page and this compliments the sentiment: "With loving wishes for a bright and beautiful season". The ornament stamped behind the sentiment in Sahara Sand, is the same stamped image that I have used on the front behind the round ornament shaker window.

I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration. Both sets are just wonderful and having the coordinating dies makes it so much easier and that you can mass produce. The creativity is endless and a lot of fun to use! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope to see you next time. Cheers!
